Marshbeat is operated by CS & Kids LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
What we collect
Two kinds of information: (1) account details for officers who log in — name and email; and (2) chapter records that officers enter — the names, emails, phone numbers, and mailing addresses of members and prospects, plus event, meeting, and financial records.
How we use it
To provide the Service: showing your roster, running your events and meetings, sending the reminders and notifications you choose to send, and keeping your chapter’s records. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run Marshbeat — our database and hosting provider and our email-delivery provider — and only as needed to operate the Service. We may disclose information if required by law.
Email & unsubscribing
Members and prospects can unsubscribe from chapter emails using the link in any message; unsubscribed contacts are skipped on future sends.
Security
Access is restricted to authorized chapter officers, data is isolated per chapter, and connections are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Retention
We keep chapter records for as long as the chapter uses the Service. Deleted records may remain briefly in backups before being removed.
Your choices
Officers can view, edit, and remove the records they manage from within the app. To request removal of your account, contact us.
